The GEC01PL4 is an 80V max (40V max X2) XGT Brushless Power Cutter with AFT and Electric Brake that offers the benefits and convenience of cordless operation. With a 14" wheel diameter, it can make single pass cuts up to 5" deep in various masonry and metal materials. This kit includes four 40V max XGT 8.0Ah Batteries (BL4080F) and a 40V max XGT Dual Port Rapid Optimum Charger (DC40RB). Compared to gas-powered models, cordless power cutters have several advantages, such as instant starts, lower noise, less maintenance, and zero emissions. The integrated water delivery system with a water flow adjustment knob continuously feeds water for OSHA Table 1 Compliance in concrete cutting applications. The brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life and can deliver up to 5,300 RPM. The GEC01 is equipped with Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT), which turns off the motor if the rotation of the cutting wheel is suddenly forced to stop. It also features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), which improves dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions. Convenience features include a built-in L.E.D. light, large spindle lock button, and a lock-off power switch. The GEC01 also has soft start, overload protection, integrated all aluminum wheels, adjustable blade guard, and rubberized front handle. XGT is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers that utilizes 40V max lithium-ion batteries and is engineered to deliver high power for high-demand applications, making it a reliable choice for a cordless job site.
